Richard Palermo

Richard began his violin studies through The Pittsburgh Music Academy. He quickly progressed giving numerous recitals and concerts each year. Richard received full scholarships for both his Bachelors and Graduate degrees through Duquesne University- Mary Pappert School of Music and Carnegie Mellon University School of Music. While he attended Duquesne University he held Concertmaster of the Duquesne Symphony Orchestra and the Duquesne Chamber Orchestra. He is a scholarship and competition winner recipient of the Pittsburgh Foundation, Keynotes of South Hills, and the Tuesday Music Club which has led him to solo recitals and performances.
Richard has participated in numerous national and international summer festivals through the Cleveland Institute of Music, NYU Steinhart, and the Orford Academy in Quebec. Richard can be seen performing with the Erie Philharmonic, Wheeling, Westmoreland, and Johnstown Symphonies.
