SAMANTHA FRENCH
Samantha began studying piano at the age of 5. She graduated as a music education major in college. While in college, she was a member of the touring choir- as the accompanist for her first year in the group, and as the student director in her second year.
For a few years after college, Sam was a therapeutic musician at a hospital in Northwestern Pennsylvania, playing for a variety of patients ranging from newborns to hospice patients. She played piano for several musicals through the years, and now serves as the accompanist for South Buffalo Elementary chorus concerts (so fun!).
Sam first became the organist for her childhood church at the age of 12, and now spends much of her time assisting the worship pastor at her church as the music director and vocal coach, and plays keys and synth for their worship team.
Sam also serves as a Kindermusik teacher, sharing the love of music with the littlest of students.
This is Sam's second time teaching at Noteworthy. She took some time off several years ago after she and her husband had a 28 month old, 1 year old, and newborn preemie at home.
Samantha has been teaching piano for 18 years, and believes her varied experiences in music give her a well-rounded teaching approach.
